In this assignment, I developed a logo and comprehensive brand guide for a fictional nonprofit organization focused on whale conservation and the protection of ocean ecosystems. The goal was to create a visual identity that not only communicates the mission of the organization but also evokes an emotional connection to the cause.
Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I explored various creative directions — experimenting with color palettes inspired by the ocean, clean and modern typography, and imagery that reflects the grace and power of marine life. Every design decision was made with intention, aiming to balance professionalism with a sense of urgency and hope.
This project allowed me to sharpen my technical design skills while expressing a personal passion for marine conservation. The result is a cohesive and impactful brand identity that conveys the nonprofit’s values, inspires action, and creates a strong foundation for future communication. Beyond design practice, this assignment was an opportunity to merge creativity with advocacy — showing how thoughtful branding can help amplify a meaningful mission.
